The varnishing or inking sleeves, also called Tint Sleeves, are made of an elastomer compound that allows a constant transfer of ink or varnish to the substrate. They are easily removable from the cylinder to adapt to different working widths.
We offer three density type options designed in different colors: white, black and gray to identify the hardness and the ink or varnish contribution to the substrate.
1. White Sleeve: Medium high hardness. Recommended for use with UV protection varnishes and applications where high rubber resistance is required.
2. Black Sleeve: Medium hardness. Recommended for use with UV protection varnishes, water-based inks and multipurpose applications. Its black color helps the machine operator to have a better visualization when working with transparent varnishes.
3. Gray Sleeve: Low hardness: Suitable for white backgrounds and varnish applications on absorbent or irregular substrates such as wine labels, where a greater volume of contribution is required.
The most standard measures of use have these two outer diameters 88.9 mm and 101.07 mm. The manufacturing length can be between 914 and 1,000 mm. by cutting to the widths required by the customer in our facilities.
On request, other inner and outer diameters can be manufactured, as well as in different rubber compounds based on certain special requirements. In these cases, please contact our technical-commercial department to determine the characteristics, dimensions, quantity and delivery time.

In the hardness of the rubber, the hardest is the white, which is used for more precise work, the grey is the softest and is recommended for large amounts of varnish or ink base coats. The black one is intermediate and the most versatile in use.
